The town hall is located at 14 Frederick Street in the hamlet of Constantia, and is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

If you see a streetlight out near your home, get the number of the pole and call highway superintendent Wayne Woolridge at 315.675.8264 (highway garage) or 315.882.4850 (cell). If you do not have a pole number, please report what road it is on, and the nearest crossroad.

Legal Notice

Please Take Notice, the Town of Constantia will hold a work session on August 31, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Constantia Town Hall. Please Take Further Notice: that a budget work session will be held on September 23, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the Constantia Town Hall. Action may be taken at either work session.

Please Take Notice The regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Constantia during the calendar year 2010 shall be held at 7:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the Town Hall, 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, New York.

Please Take Further Notice: that prior to each aforesaid regular meeting the Constantia Town Board will conduct a work session at 6:30 pm at the aforesaid town hall for the purpose of allowing members of the board to preliminarily review bills submitted to the board for approval and payment and for the purposes of discussing those matters which fall within the definitions, intent and purview of Section 95, Article 7 of the Public Officers Law.

Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll and Warrant

Please Take Notice that I, Clare Haynes the undersigned Town Clerk/Tax Collector of the Town of Constantia, County of Oswego and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Constantia for the year 2010, and I will attend at the Town Hall, 14 Frederick Street, in said Town of Constantia, from January 4, 2010 to March 31, 2010. Collection hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:30am -3:30pm for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on the tax roll. No taxes will be received on Sundays or Holidays. Take Further Notice that taxes may be paid on or before February 1, 2010 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of one percent for the first month (for the month of February) and addition one percent for each additional month or fraction thereof, thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of the unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer pursuant to law. Take Further Notice, that pursuant to the provisions of the law, the tax roll of the Town of Constantia will be returned to the County Treasurer of Oswego County the 1st day of April 2010.

Please be informed that

NOTICE TO TOWN OF CONSTANTIA RESIDENTS

Fire Safety and Property Maintenance inspections of all multiple dwellings and all non-residential buildings, structure, use or occupancy,of any dwelling unit will commence starting January 2007. This will include Public Assembly uses intended for worship, recreation or amusement, and food and drink consumption.

The Town of Constantia has received notice from the state Public Service Commission (PSC) that the PSC is planning changes to the 315 area code. These changes may involve changes to the boundaries of the 315 area code, resulting in new area codes being assigned.
