The next regular meeting of the Constantia Town Board will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Constantia Town Hall, 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, New York.
The date of the September town board meeting has been corrected on the Calendar page.

The next regular meeting of the Constantia Planning Board will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Constantia Town Hall, 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, New York.
The town of Constantia Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Constantia Town Hall on Frederick Street, Constantia. See Notices below for more information.

The Town of Constantia Dog Control Officer will be conduction the bi-annual dog enumeration for the Town of Constantia. She will be checking dog licenses for all dogs over the age of 4 months. The dog enumeration will last from June 20th through October 1, 2008. Your cooperation is appreciated.

The Town of Constantia has received notice from the state Public Service Commission (PSC) that the PSC is planning changes to the 315 area code. These changes may involve changes to the boundaries of the 315 area code, resulting in new area codes being assigned.

The Town of Constantia highway department is now on four 10 hour shifts (6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). Please call highway superintendent Wayne Woolridge at 315.882.4850 with any problems or questions.
The town hall is located at 14 Frederick Street in the hamlet of Constantia, and is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

The town of Constantia Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Constantia Town Hall on Frederick Street, Constantia. The Board will be reviewing two variance applications. One submitted by Charlotte Alexander for area and setback for property located at 1267 State Rte 49, Constantia. The second application for a storage building submitted by Alan Lane for property located at 627 State Rte. 49, Constantia. The Board may hear comments from the public. Written comments may be submitted to Ken Macari c/o the Town of Constantia by the day of the meeting.

require a permit before installation, an electrical inspection and a final inspection. This is accordance to the State Fire and Building Codes. If you have any questions, please contact the Town of Constantia Codes Enforcement Office at 315.623.9581.
NOTICE TO TOWN OF CONSTANTIA RESIDENTS
Fire Safety and Property Maintenance inspections of all multiple dwellings and all non-residential buildings, structure, use or occupancy, of any dwelling unit will commence starting January 2007. This will include Public Assembly uses intended for worship, recreation or amusement, and food and drink consumption.
